Movie Review with Daddy & Drew: Shrek Forever After - The Final Chapter 3D
It's time for another movie review with Daddy & Drew! This week, we're reviewing the smash-mouth hit-comedy from Dreamworks Pictures, Shrek Forever After - The Final Chapter. We watched the 3D version at our local theater, NCG Cinemas Acworth.
Drew’s Review: “That was awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome!”
Daddy’s Review: If you're a parent of more than one child, particularly more than two children, or of multiples, this one's gonna hit a home run for you in the first 30 minutes, especially the Dads out there. It's incredibly raw and relate-able, and yet still funny enough that it will make you laugh, and it's not over a 5 year old's head. There are a few, but very brief fighting/dragon scenes that might be a little much for anyone under 7-10 years old depending on your child's sensitivity levels. But a little reassurance got Drew through them just fine. The language in The Final Chapter is much improved from it's two predecessors, a little more family friendly this go-round. And overall the movie does a great job of both building on and rounding out the overall story of Shrek and Fiona, along with their three baby ogres, Donkey, and Puss-in-Boots. Enjoy!
